About Angela Rankin


After completing three years of professional dance college at the Theatre school of dance and drama in Edinburgh, Angela became a professional dancer starting her career with the world famous Moulin Rouge in Paris, she continued to perform for over 10 years in many different shows and tv specials such as the Frank Sinatra 80 years celebration in Los Angeles, finishing the last 3 years of her career touring the world with the renowned Lido Des Paris.

After retiring from the world of dance she went on to study the method of pilates with the Body control Pilates association in London, following which she returned to Monaco and opened the first pilates studio situated in the heart of Monaco which has now been running successfully since 2006. 

But it does not end there, Angela continues to attend conferences and development courses  every year as part of her continuing education and development, making sure she keeps herself and her clients updated the ever evolving world of pilates. Most recently taking part in the “pilates on tour” with balanced body specialising in pilates for osteoporosis with Sheri Betz physiotherapist and founder of Therapilates.  Angela is also a level three pilates teacher with Reps, the register of exercise professionals in the UK.
